Ulteriori informazioni / contenuti	Intersections, ein Stück des bekannten kanadischen Komponisten Bob Buckley, ist ein Wechselspiel zwischen den verschiedenen Registern der Band. Die Eröffnungsmelodie beginnt mit dem Alt-, Tenorsaxofon, Flügelhorn und Trompete und entwickelt sich in ein 'Frage-und-Antwort-Spiel' zwischen Hölzern und Blech. Der nächste Teil beginnt mit einer Linie, die von Baritonsaxofon, Bassposaune, Gitarre und Bass gespielt wird (kontrastiert von gestochenen Bläsereinwürfen), die zu den ersten Soloteilen hinführt. Später führt ein Zusammenprall der hohen und tiefen Stimmen zu einem Ensembleteil, einem weiteren Soloteil und einem lodernden Ende. Eine spaßige Nummer, bei der alle Register die Gelegenheit bekommen, zu glänzen. Intersections by noted Canadian composer, Bob Buckley is an interplay between the different sections of the band. The opening melody starts off with the alto, tenor, flugel, and trumpet and then develops into a 'call and response” between the reeds and brass. The next section opens with a line played by the bari, bass bone, guitar, and bass, contrasted with horn stabs, leading into the first solo sections. Later a cannon between the upper and lower voices leads to an ensemble section, another solo section and a blazing finish. A fun chart where all sections have a chance to shine!
