Ulteriori informazioni / contenuti	Dieses Werk ist ziemlich typisch für meine Art zu komponieren: ein Streichorchester, das ich auf höchst traditionelle Art einsetze. Kein Dämpfer-Effekt, keine glissandi... Die Ideen und auch der Verlauf des Werkes sind klassisch. Der erste Satz ist ein Allegro in Sonatenform, der zweite ein Scherzo mit einem einzigen Thema. Der dritte Satz ist viel breiter entwickelt: ein Adagio, dessen Exposition ursprünglich für eine Ballade für Viola und Orchester vorgesehen war. Davon bleibt lediglich das Bratschen-Thema am Anfang. Der Schlussatz ist ein Rondo. Jean Balissat This work is rather symptomatic of my composing manner: a string orchestra which I use in a most traditional way. No mute effect, no glissandi... The ideas, as well as the procedure of the work are classic. The first movement is an Allegro in Sonata form, the second a Scherzo with one unique theme. The third movement is much more developed: it is an Adagio whose exposition was at the origin planned for a Ballade for viola and orchestra. It remains only the viola theme at the beginning. The last movement is a Rondo. Jean Balissat Cette oeuvre est assez symptomatique de ma manière d'écrire: un orchestre à cordes que j'utilise de la manière la plus traditionnelle qui soit. Aucun effet de sourdine, de glissandi... Les idées, la marche de l'oeuvre sont classiques. Le premier mouvement est un Allegro en forme de sonate, le deuxième un Scherzo avec un seul thème.Le troisième mouvement est beaucoup plus développé: il s'agit d'un Adagio dont l'exposition fut à l'origine prévue pour une Ballade pour alto et orchestre. Il en reste le thème de l'alto du début. Quant au Finale, il est construit en forme de rondo. Jean Balissat
