Ulteriori informazioni / contenuti	Die mit viel Fantasie erfundenen erschütternden Bilder beschreibt Federico Garcia Lorca (1898-1936) mit einer poetischen, sensiblen Sprache. Die Musik deutet diese Bilder teilweise eher zurückhaltend an. Sie unterstützt eher die poetische Seite des Dichters. Die Gitarre ist dazu ein ideales Instrument. Der Gesang bleibt vorwiegend lyrisch. Expressive Ausbrüche und musikalische Wortausdeutungen in der Begleitung sind eher selten. In 'Vuelta de paseo' (Vom Spaziergang zurück) ist eine freie dreiteilige 'Liedform' erkennbar. 'Asesinato' (Mord) ist ein Dialog. Einer immer mehr erregten Sprechstimme wird ein Gesang gegenübergestellt, der eine grauenhafte Geschichte in fast lieblicher Weise wiedergibt. 'La aurora' (Die Morgenröte) besteht aus zwei Teilen. Der erste ist eine Art Thema, von der Gitarre exponiert, eigentlich eine romantische spanische Aurora, und drei Variationen, die das Thema verzerren und die grässliche Morgenröte New Yorks darstellen. Im zweiten Teil wird von der Hoffnungslosigkeit dort lebender Menschen gesungen bis die Musik nach und nach verstummt. Jost Meier, Basel, den 15. The musical representations of these graphic scenes occur sparsely in subtle, restrained ways, placing emphasis on the writer's poetical side. The guitar is an ideal instrument for that purpose, with the human voice remaining essentially lyrical. The expressive manifestations and the deep psychological underpinnings of the text are only occasionally underlined within the accompaniment. In 'Vuelta de paseo' (Return of a promenade) one can recognize the three part form of the 'Lied'. 'Asesinato' (Murder) is a dialog which takes the form of words spoken with increasing irritation in response and opposition to a song describing an atrocious story with a sense of morbid delight. 'La aurora' (dawn) is presented in two parts: the first - a kind of theme exposed by the guitar - is a sort of romantic spanish dawn distorted incrementally via three variations written to come back to a depressing dawn in New York. The second part expresses the despair of the local inhabitants until the music fades away slowly. 'La aurora' (L'aurore) comprend deux parties: d'abord une sorte de thème exposé par la guitare qui illustre pour ainsi dire une aurore espagnole romantique que trois variations déforment progressivement pour la ramener à l'horrible aurore newyorkaise.
